Help G4 Charging Issues

Over the past couple of days my G4 has been having weird charging issues.

Technically the problems started a week or two after getting it, as it wouldn't charge at all with the supplied cable but I swapped that for another in my drawer and that fixed it. But now I have a new issue and nothing seems to solve it.

I plug the phone in and it vibrates to say it is now charging, but the vibration knocks the connection slightly so it stops charging, then it reconnects, vibrates again and then stops charging. And round and round we go. Vibrate for a sec, stop, vibrate again, stop, vibrate again ad infinitum.

I've tried different cables, I've tried different plugs but nothing has fixed it. If I do manage to sit it down and stop it doing the infinite vibrations, come the morning when the alarm clock goes off it starts again.

What can I try to fix this?

Thanks

Turn off the vibrating, that's the first thing I do when I get a phone. I had an older phone do the same thing and here the charging port was lose on the inside, have them check that for you. It would be covered under your warranty.

Go into settings; sound & notification; vibration strength and turn it all the way down and uncheck sound with vibration.

Are you pushing the cable all the way in? Try that as stupid as it sounds it might fix your problem.
