Basically what was stated in the title. I had a S3 and it showed up just fine on my comp but my sons that I got for him yesterday is not. Any ideas how to fix it?

Try going to settings, developer options and tick the box that says enable USB debugging.

Install the Samsung device drivers. I'd you don't know how, just google for Samsung Kies. It comes with the drivers.

And for the record, you shouldn't need to enable debugging to allow your PC to see your device. Both my Tab (ICS) and phone (GB) don't need it.

Just plugged mine into a PC, was able to drag and drop just fine without adjusting any settings.
