Galaxy A51... rearrange app icons

On previous Galaxy phones I could 'hold & drag' app icons to the edge of the screen and they would 'flip' to the next screen - not so on my new A51!
If the Home screen is full, any new icons added will appear 1 per new screen, but you can't move them between screens? samsung galaxy s23 ultra ringtone

Any help would be appreciated.

try a different launcher. i do not like one ui. my preferred launcher is nova. but adw is another popular one here in this forum.
