Help Galaxy Ace menu and back button always turned on

I bought it about a week ago, and i love it but My Galaxy ace's Menu and Back button are always lit, even when i take it off charge and lock it... I havent noticed it before, are they always turned on or have i accidentaly turned them on 24/7? I think its draining my battery... And my battery doesn't last as long as it was specified, help please? I'm new so i don't know much about the phone...

Try pulling out the battery while the phone is on and reboot. I've done like that when my phone used to vibrate some times.

Usually, the back lights will off when your display dims.
