Help Galaxy Avant OH2

I'm stumped. Galaxy Avant Metro PCS model: SM-G386T1 OH2 build. Twrp by Shabbypenguin installs fine and boots, SuperSU installs as well, when it tries to disable Knox.... No go, i have tried every which way to disable Knox that i can think of but no go.

So currently i'm downloading firmware to go back to NK3 which i know i could root on NK3 without issues.
After many attempts to disable Knox i see this as my only viable solution. I tried different SuperSU zips, manually disabling Knox, Gates Jr debloater to try and block Knox etc....

Rolled the device back to NK3 and success, no issues at all. Installing Xposed for my customer and done with this job!

You could have just gotten twrp on it, flashed the SuperSU zip and then ran the "knox and CarrierIQ" remover zip as well, save yourself ten minutes.

Hmm thanks i hadn't ever come across the "knox and CarrierIQ" remover zip before.
I will look into it though for future use as needed thanks again!

It's around there somewhere in the avant root section, getting knox disabled is a pain sometimes. Also, with that newest build number you have to turn off auto reboot in odin if you want to install twrp or else it gets overwritten

I didn't have issues as far as booting Twrp with auto reboot on. I just did adb reboot recovery as customers can become confused as far as using the hardware buttons to boot the recovery and it's faster for me to boot the recovery for them.

Although it is a sure fire way to ensure the recovery boots the first time with auto reboot unchecked.
