Hello guys. I'm new on this forum, and i wanna say HI and sorry if i violate any rule of the forum with this post.

So, i have a Samung Galaxy Fit S5670 smartphone and tonight i updated the android to 2.3.4 (GINGERBREAD.ZCKP7) using this link . The update was half succesful, i have the new design, keyboard and other things, but the update installed lots and lots of chinese software and the default softs like music, gmail, the navigation crashes when i try to access them and other annoying things.

How can i fix this? How can i install the latest gingerbread update, without any bugs and chinese softwares?

Thank you very much and sorry if i posted in the wrong section.

Welcome to AF! :)

You've not violated any rule, don't worry. However, I have moved your query to the correct sub-forum. We have loads, it's easy to get confused so don't worry about it.

Are you sure that was the correct update for your phone? It might have been a regional variation, only meant for Chinese handsets? You can get all official firmware versions here: samfirmware.com

I don't know if this was the correct update. I searched on google and that was the only tutorial that i found. I'll check that website, thanks.

I solved, thanks for help. You were right, it was a regional update. I installed latest update from that site and now my phone is fast as a Ferrari :d
