Galaxy Grand Quattro - Problem with Hanging

Hi
I am a new Android phone user, recently moved from iPhone 4.
I have bought a Grand Quattro Due GT-I8552 model. In the beginning I have around 2000 names in Contacts, Now with syncing from my Outlook in Exchange Servier, I have around 4000 names. Now my phone takes 30-40 secs to open Contacts.
Is this due to lack of phone memory?

Hey there and welcome to android forums!

I don't believe it has anything to do with low memory, but more as you have that many contacts.

You could try tapping your menu button and you might have a menu that shows merge to cut the duplicate contacts down.
