Help galaxy i7500 bluetooth

I suggest you take a look around and read some links from the stickied thread, as most of the questions have been answered already. ;)

In short, yes it's possible to update to 2.2 but the ROM isn't perfect. Samsung never provided anything past Android 1.6.

As for Bluetooth, I've never used it but I believe it will only work for headsets; I think data transfer doesn't work.

Bluetooth does not work with the original firmware but with custom rom like gaosp, it works gud.. that too in duplex way (i can send and receive file silmutaneously)
 
So what must i do nw to enable blutooth file transfer frm my set to another n wat to do to update it to android 2 or above....dude i m in desperate need of bluetooth file transfer..pls help me out....
 
Hey I am on the latest nightly 10292010 which has Android Froyo 2.2 and can confirm that Bluetooth transfer works out of the box.

So you might upgrade it to enable bt on ur handset.
