Help Galaxy J5 - Homescreen Shrunk, Why?

Hi Everyone,
I restarted my phone because WhatsApp kept showing I had a message when I didn't and to make it go away I restarted my phone and when it came back the widget was smaller. I went into setting to adjust anything I could, restarted the phone again, but nothing. The phone was fine before I restarted it. Any suggestions. Thanks in advance for your answers.

I cannot really see what your talking about from your description and picture.

But if a widget is playing up, long press on it and drag it to the remove option and then add it back to your home screen from a long press on a space on the home screen and choose widgets, find it and place it back.

You may also find if you long press on the widget you can resize the widget when the box appears around the widget.
