Hi, hope you can help me. I tried to root my Galaxy M20 SM-M205M but something went wrong once the Odin finished cause it got stucked on a bootloop. Then i realized that the name of the file i was using was "ROOT-M205F-U1-Android 9 Pie.tar" i guess that was not made for my phone version. After a short investigation i downloaded the SM-M205M Firmware from Sammobile, it came with 5 files and i put each file in its respective field (using Odin 3.14.4) i tried to follow the instructions.
-The phone is in download mode
-Im using my original usb cable
-Odin recognizes that the phone is conected
-I have the Samsung drivers installed
But when i hit the start button it says Fail and a sentence appears in the upper left corner of the phone screen "CHECK FAIL(BOOTLOADER) DEVICE: 4 BINARY: 3", so now im running out of options, i would appretiate your support, thanks.

no, Odin just says:
FAIL
Complete(write) Operation failed
At this point i have no idea of what im doing, i just want it to run like normal (if its possible)

It just seems like your previous flashed firmware was on a highr aboot and now that your trying to flash the correct firmware for your device it could be on a lower aboot (fused).

Count 5 digits from the end of the first firmware you flashed (the incorrect firmware)

for instance my Note 4 previous firmware was

N910PVPS4DPK1 and fused (aboot) 4

uodated firmware

N910PVPU5DQ15 and fused (aboot) 5

Since I am now on fused 5, I am unable to downgrade bootloader and modem. Trying to will result in Odin fail.

Also try another version of Odin
