galaxy nexus or galaxy s2 hd

Did some googling, Galnex looks very similar to gals2hd.

Anyone holding out in hopes of the s2hd? Some of the features, such as a faster processor and hdmi out sound like it could be really nice.

Also, I have been waiting since july for a decent phone on verizon.

If you have been waiting since July and the Galaxy Nexus will work for you, you probably don't want to play the waiting game again.

Plus, you get quicker software updates with a Nexus phone.

yea.... You will be waiting for an eternity. I know it initially seems like "oh I can wait a little while longer" then a little while longer turns into 4-6months (1/4 of the way to your next upgrade) and its like what was the point I got the same thing with touchwiz on it in some way shape or form. Then you say "I'll wait for the next gen processors and LTE radios to come out" that's another 4-6months (1/2 of the way to your next upgrade and these are super optimistic time frames). Its not worth it, if you like this just get it lol...

actually very good points. didn't even think about upgrades. i am still on my lg env from a few years ago.

i am on vzw, so i suppose it would be doubtful that they would get both the nexgal and the s2hd.
