Help Galaxy Nexus Starting to Reboot on its own

Wavester

Newbie
I have been noticing of late that my Galaxy Nexus (Android 4.2.2) has been rebooting on its own. Its not too too bad (yet), but it has been happening now at least once/twice a day at min. I was wondering if anyone esle has been experiencing this and if so what is the fix? I saw there was a thread on here that mentioned this - but the last post was Feb and this is June, so I wanted to make sure it wasn't pertinent to an older version of Android.

Random reboots happen most often due to an app not behaving correctly. Try preforming a factory reset and slowly re-add apps and see if that corrects the issue.

I've had the same thing happen in the past when I had too many apps installed. I started uninstalling them until it stopped rebooting itself. It didn't seem to have to do with the amount of free space; it seemed to have something to do with the number of apps installed. I hope that helps.
