Galaxy Note 10.1 - Latest update question

Going to purchase the Galaxy Note 10.1 this weekend. Is there anything special to look for to make sure I'm purchasing the latest version?
The one with the latest Jelly Bean update.

I know nothing about Android so please excuse my ignorance.

If it has 4.1.2 it has the latest version of Android for the tablet. There may be a small update that fixes some issues when you get your tablet but no big deal. If it doesn't have the latest version just update it to it. It is very easy to do. Go to settings then about device and then update.

After you perform the initial setup and synch, if there are any updates the Note 10.1 will let you know. This both for Android OS updates and individual app updates.
