Galaxy Note 3 link to Kies

I cannot link my new Galaxy note 3 to Kies, even though I have downloaded the latest version. I want to transfer my contacts onto the new phone.

Export the contacts from the old phone to a file on your computer. (There's an Export/Import item in thr Contact app menu.) Go to https://www.google.com/contacts/ log into your Google account and import that file. Add that google account to your new phone. It'll import the contacts.
