How To Galaxy Note 4: How to close apps

To close apps on the Galaxy Note 4 you have a few options. To quickly close individual apps, you can swipe them away from the multitasking menu:

  1. Open the recent apps view by tapping the multitasking/recents key to the left of the home button
  2. Swipe the app you want to close to the right and off the screen
To close apps and clear them from your device's RAM:

  1. Open the recent apps view by tapping the multitasking/recents key to the left of the home button
  2. Tap the pie chart icon at the lower left of the screen
  3. Close individual apps by tapping "End" next to the desire application (or)
  4. Close all apps by tapping "End all" at the bottom of the screen
