How To Galaxy Note 4: how to delete history

This resource created by Phandroid.com Contributing Editor Kevin Krause as part of an Official Series of beginner tutorials for Android Forums.

If you'd like to clear the browsing history of your Galaxy Note 4, you will have to do so through the Settings menu. Note that these directions only apply if you use the default browser that comes preinstalled on the device. If you have downloaded another browser such as Chrome, you will most likely need to clear your browsing history through the app's own settings menu.

To clear Note 4 browser history:
  1. From the Settings menu, navigate to "Internet" under the "Applications" header
  2. Tap "Privacy"
  3. Tap "Delete personal data"
  4. In the "Delete personal data" dialog, choose the type of data you wish to erase (if you are specifically after your browsing history, make sure to select "Browsing history")
  5. Tap "Delete" to confirm
