Root Galaxy Note brick

tensawas

Lurker
I did a Nandroid Backup of my Note this morning as I had intended to flash the phone with Alba ROM.However Alba ROM didnt work so I had to do a restore and the phone began not to be responsive using CWM recovery so I tried using Odin and it would go up to about 5% on factoryfs and wont do anything. So I removed it from there and now its stuck on "Firmware upgrade encountered as issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again."I should mention that I wasnt using Kies when this happened.
So I tried once again in Kies and then the binary counts started to count,so my question is what do I do to restore my phone or is it dead and nothing cant be done to it at all?Can I take it back to Vodafone or since it now shows binary counts they wont replace it under warranty?
Any help will be much appreciated.

Check out the galaxy note root section.....failing that, have you got it insured and covered for being dropped in the toilet etc? Lol
