After 4 months of bliss using my galaxy note I woke up this morning to find that it no longer recognizes the internal memory (USB Storage) or the SD Card.
This means all my stored photos and videos etc are no longer accessible as they were on the phones internal memory. The SD card I'm not so fussed about.
I have tried to access the phones internal storage areas on my PC to do a recovery op. but as the phone doesn't see it's own storage the PC can't access it. Two drives appear but they are not accessible.
I phoned samsung who weren'y much use either.
Half the phone functions no longer work either. I will try a factory reset but I wanted to know if there is any app that can access the storage areas so I can copy my data first.
I installed AVG anti-virus just in case it had been infected (it isn't). However, the strange thing is there is an option to check individual files and I can actually go to the storage areas that the phone itself can't access so the files and folders are still there.
Is there anyway I can access these folders/files to copy them. My PC can't connect to the phone, android file managers can't see the folders but AVG can!!
I just don't want to factory reset if I can get to the files first.
I hope someone here can help me.
