Does anyone have experience with Android Lost free app that will allow you to remotely lock your phone, set off a siren (In case its lost in the house it will turn up the volume and make an obnoxious noise to help you find it, remotely power on and turn on the GPS so you can see it on map, lock the phone, display a message on the phone to say something like "If found please call xxx-xxx-xxxx", and lastly wipe all personal data if you think your phone is stolen.
Blackberry had an app / wbsite for this for all their BB phones, HTC Has an app and site (HTC Sense) but turned it off because they had a lot of problems with it, but I can not seem to find a good free one for the Samsung Glalaxy Note. Thus far all the apps I have found allow VERY limited options unless you upgrade and pay for it.
If anyone happens to know of an app that would help me with this I would appreciated it. I still do not have ICS yet because the US roll out is sooooo slow, and I have limited funds as I am waiting for my SSI-SSD benefits, before I can start purchasing apps again.
I would also like to know if yall know of a good free back up app to back up all my logs, chats, ect, I don't need to backup the apps thenselve.
I use the GO Launcher EX and GO Backup works but I am not sure how to make it work.
And one lost questions, I am using GO SMS PRO, and when I am writing a long SMS message, the amount of characters you can use is limited, when I was using Handsense, if you went over the SMS limit, it would automatically switch you too MMS with out any changes by me, but for the GO SMS Pro I di not see how to do this. Any idea's on that?
