galaxy note overheating, battery draining

I have a galaxy note n700 recently it is suffering from severe overheating and the fully charged battery drains in 2 hours. any suggestions

Bring it in for repair. Sounds as if there's a short in it somewhere. (It could even be inside the battery.)

I had the same thing happen after getting an Otterbox cover for my phone. Once I took the cover off it stopped overheating and the battery reverted to it's normal long life.
