Help Galaxy Note stuck at bootscreen after factory reset

Hello everyone!

I woke up this morning and turned on my phone. After a few minutes I recieved a message, then the phone rebooted, and it was stuck at the "Encryption unsucessful" screen. I was ok with reseting my phone as I have all my data backed up, but that didn't work no matter how many times I pressed the button.

So I went into recovery mode and restored to factory settings. Now my phone is stuck at bootlogo and I can't go into recovery mode anymore.

What should I do?

Thanks in advace

I guess you are running Android 4.0.3/4? There is a bug in the kernel whereby wiping your phone will hard brick it.

If you search Google for 'emmc brick bug' you'll find lots of information.

If indeed you are hard bricked then you'll need to take you phone to a Samsung service centre to have the main-board replaced (or receive a new phone). There is also a possibility to get the phone working again by ignoring the damaged memory but this will limit your available memory so much better to get Samsung to sort it under warranty.

See here for the limited memory revival:
