Galaxy Note to-do list

Hi there,

First time poster!

I downloaded the new firmware for my Galaxy Note yesterday (Jelly Bean?) and have spent ages today rejigging everything to how I like it. Unfortunately I don't seem to be able to find one of the apps I used to use though? The app was a widget which occupied just over half of a home screen page, was a cream/ beige colour and was essentially a to-do list, to which you could add reminders to alert you to tasks, or simply set as ' no due date'. I have found a similar widget with the new update but it seems to show your tasks by date, or by month. If I want to find the task list I have to go through loads of button presses within the widget. O sully want to have a list of tasks directly on my home screen which I can add to easily.

Any chance anyone knows what I mean and/ or can recommend where I can find this app again or find one similar? (I found a couple on Play Store but they were full of ads and were ugly).

T hanks,
Luke

Not exactly what you want but you can use Google Keep. If you only use it for a to do list, you can place the widget on your homescreen and resize it to what you want. Then tap to edit it or use voice commands. But I don't think there is a reminder aspect to it.

Regardless, Google Keep is free and a fantastic app that you can try. And it syncs with your google drive so you can access it on a desktop and it auto-syncs.

Brilliant- Thanks gtbarry! Just downloaded it and it is a perfect solution

I miss that To Do list as well!!! I find it irritating that it's in the calendar but no longer a widget you can put on as a home screen. It doesn't seem like the kind of thing that would be so bothersome to have included, but I'm not a programmer so what do I know?

At any rate, I'll try the Google Keep, but grudgingly.
