Yea for an old Note 4. One thing to be aware of is the more you modify system apps , deni permission, chang receivers and delete stuff the less fluent your device will become (generally but not always). Sometimes its a good idea to go back and grant permission and test the difference.

Usually, the best way to test speeds is connected to home wifi rather than carrier data.

Lol..I'm re-re-re-reading the whole tread of The Galaxy Note4..it'll take a minute and a half..since is long.

So many of your directions I did miss out because I was really a novice..I truly had not clue of what you were talking about back then..I just tried to follow your lead to the best of my abilities but my abilities were not sharp at all..that's why you had to repeat your self so much(so sorry about that, brother)..

I'm trying to correct a little bit my system..there's still something not quiet there yet..I feel it..but it's almost perfect!, thanks to you bro..

My interval is 10 and my input frequently is 2899MHz.

I never used S Health, I was un aware that it didn't work with so rooter rooted phones. I know of a port for the N4. As for mine, I unistalled S Health a while back. I honestly have no idea if it ever even worked. I just assumed it did since no one in the download thread of the rom mentioned S Health not working.

I love the S Health because it counts the steps I walk every where I go..so I'm aware of calories and kind of work out I do and stay fit..FIT FOR EVER!!

You wouldn't have to flash any thing..I'll tell you what to do step by step in simple ways..

It just involves porting.

Ok, here's what to follow, bro:

You are going to create two folders in priv-apps..
1* named: HealthService
2* named: SHealth

In the second folder you are going to port the version 5.13.0.051

In the first folder you are going to port the version 2.1.3.001

*very important*..at this point you don't install them yet..


Now reboot.

Look for the S Health widget..open it up and go to settings, agre with the terms..close it..and at this point is supposed to start counting your steps

If is not..from the download file where you got those apps from me(NOT from the priv-apps folder) you hit install the version 5.13.0.051

I never had such a cold..very cold rom like this one..every since my first Android..always struggled with the heat they emman..this one is WOW.

example:

I've been running the hotspot from the Note4 for over 5 hours(not exaggeration)..giving internet to the Note5..I've dl this app called PBS..I'll recommend it to any one who is into science knowledge..so I've been watching non-stop for more than 5 hours today Nova series on it..and the temperature on my Note4's battery have been 87°f steady..therefore the battery level hasn't dropped much..

The other Chmods as they call them (folder/file permissions) . Why a select few differ from the norm? I just know there set that way for a reason. If yoyr FX file explore has FC's or doesn't preform as intended it may be do to incorrect chmod settings. If it works good, I'd just leave well enough alone.

There are 3 others, you may not be aware of, they are Uid , Gid and Sticky bit.
