hi everybody im new here so bare with me peeps.. i need some help iv got the galaxy portal its been great up to this morning :confused: i woke up and checked my phone the battery was dead so i plugged it in to charger and it came up on the screen battery disconected???? it wont come on just says that iv cleaned the battery tryed it again and its saying the same only had since january any ideas??:(

First thing i would do is to turn phone back off and pull battery (essentially is a soft reset) and then plug in while off and let it sit (and hopefully charge)
If not then possibly look into getting new battery... not sure though. Try asking around in the linked section, maybe the portal users might know better
