Its that time to get a new phone again and the shortlist are the Galaxy s or desire.
The lure of the GS, for me anyway, are
1. surfing web (bettar on a big screen)
2. watching video (which I understand the galaxy will play XVID DIVx AVI out the box, no need to convert, with a bigger better screen)
3. TV out, would be useful when traveling (Not available on desire)
4. Battery life, which I think is better than the desire
But.. after trauling through endless forums on which is bettar I decided to go for the desire, the deal breaker for me of the GS was the dreaded lag complaint. But... now with a 2.2.1 official update I am reading the problem is gone, or reduced to a point of not really being a problem anymore.. is this so.. and if so does it last or does the lag creep back in after a while.
If the lag is not dead and gone it would drive me crazy, especially if I am locked in for two years.
This is my first post to the forum and sorry if I am repaeting what has already been asked. Any response would be much appreciated, thankyou in advance
