galaxy s 2 bluetooth 3.0 NOT pairing with older 2.0 bluetooth device.

hi.

the galaxy s 2 has 3.0 bluetooth, but will NOT pair with an older version of bluetooth, a motorola t 505 visor speakerphone, bluetooth version 2.0. i love the t 505 because it is loud, and has 2 watts.

i think since the phone has 3.0 bluetooth it requires a newer, 3.0 bluetooth device to pair. any ideas if the 3.0 galaxy s 2 requires a newer 3.0 bluetooth device?? i always thought if a phone has a newer version of bluetooth, it is still compatible with older bluetooth devices, and "steps down", allowing universal compatibility.

yes it should pair i had similar problem with 2.0 jawbone but once i memembered to put jawbone in pair mode it connected lol
