Galaxy S armband

hi,

do any of you have an armband for the samsung galaxy s for running etc?
i've been looking on ebay but most cheap armbands are for iphones, which is 11.5cm (4.5in) x 5.9cm (2.3in), while the galaxy s is just that bit bigger at 12.2cm (4.8in) x 6.4cm (2.5in).

wondering if the iphone armbands will stretch up that much so that i can put galaxy s inside.

maybe i should take the risk and order cheap armband.

i also want to try it on the motorcycle so phone should not be too loose in the armband, but of course also not too tight that it doesn't fit.....

I've tried a couple of iPhone cases but the Galaxy S did not fit.
So, I went to ebay and searched for one and found a couple of different cases.

I ended up buying this one and I'm very happy with it, it fits perfectly and it's very cheap compared to the iPhone ones that I tried.

A user at this thread at XDA recommends the LAB one above. Another in the same thread recommends the one below (basically anything that fits an Evo will fit the GS).

I'm sure you'd find a really cheap one (deal extreme?) that did just as well somewhere else, I'm using an old one from Ebay that I got for my HD2 for a couple of bucks...

I'm looking for an armband for the Galaxy S and I'd like to know your impressions about yours.
 
I've been thinking about taking up jogging and when I used to go to the gym I hated having to put my phone in my pocket and have wires hanging everwhere, I'm looking forward to your review on this as I am tempted to get one too.

Armband arrived today, great first impressions - very snug fit (actually slightly difficult to get in initially, imagine it will loosen with time and I'll get the knack of it, but certainly prefer the fact that its clearly fitted specifically for this handset), hole for the audio jack perfectly positioned, it has a print of the power and volume buttons on the outside of it for using them whilst in the pocket, stitching looks good quality.

Only possible drawbacks are the width of the velcro strip seems slightly narrow at around 2cm wide, don't know yet whether that will be a problem, but seems unlikely, and I don't know that the armband will fit around very large arms (so a problem for you guys with 24inch guns, not a worry for me).

Will post up some pics shortly.

Can you take a pic where the whole strip can be seen? I'd like to check the strip's length.

And the 2 cms velcro strip seems sufficient, my former pda armband velcro strip is 2 cms wide too.

As I can see in the last pic, it seems there is a cover with velcro all around the phone gap (excuse my english! :p), isn't it?

Thanks again. I think I'm going to order one armband for my galaxy.

Edited: I did forget to ask if the screen is sensitive enough with this plastic cover.
 
Sure will post another pic later, the screen is fine through the plastic, obviously not as sensitive as without, but works well.
