Help Galaxy S - Easy to unlock?

Has anyone had any experiance of unlocking the galaxy s to any network, my girlfriend is looking at purchasing one but its on o2 and she needs to put her 3 sim in it?

How easy is it? if its o2 branded would o2 give it to me?

yes its easy, iv done a few unlockins before. why not just by it from three? they do offer it on a pay and go.

I've got a samsung galaxy that I've factory reset because I'm selling on ebay but want to unlock it first.
