Help Galaxy s froyo autorotation problem

Hi everyone,
sorry if this is a duplicate post but I'm having trouble finding answers. I updated my galaxy s to froyo last week and the only issue I have is the home screen not auto rotating. At first I didn't even know it was supposed too, then it did it once, froze like it and hadn't done it since. I re collaborated which didn't work. Turned auto rotate on then back off, which didn't with either.
I read a factory reset would work which i was reluctant to do, but did anyway.that didn't work work either.
Since the reset have retried to previous attemps at fixing, still with no joy. anyone help me?

The international version of the Galaxy (aka every versoin outside of America) doesn't rotate the home screen, it is always in portrait mode.

It shouldn't be able to rotate at all. Samsung never added landscape mode to TouchWiz. There's a mod on XDA that allows it though.

Must have been a glitch.

Seems to be glitching quite alot,it done it again twice today , but both times ur was in portrait mode and the entire screen stayed landscape no matter what I did to it. Then both times just went back to normal...weird :-o
