My problem is that I CAN'T GET HEADPHONES THAT WORK WITH MY GALAXY S!!! The original headphones that came with the phone worked great, the mic worked, they sounded good and the button to pause musics/answer calls/etc. worked as well.
Since these headphones have given up the ghost I've tried heaphones from my galaxy tab 10.1 (sound weird, loud background with almost no foreground, button doesn't work) as well as headphones that I ordered which were purported to work with the galaxy S, but appear to be the same as galaxy S2/Tab 10.1 headphones (same weird audio).
All I want is a pair of headphones (or an adapter for the ones I already have) that will work with my galaxy S! I would order the originals, but I can't find them anywhere, they don't sell them at Bell anymore and there aren't any on Ebay.
I'll be eternally grateful for anyone that can help me with this. It drives me crazy that samsung doesn't make their headphones work between devices... why my galaxy Tab 10.1 headphones don't work with my galaxy S I'll never understand.
