Mine used to connect through KIES. No longer does. Mass storage and music sync with itunes works fine with ISync app. Funny thing, even with USB set to KIES, I can still browse the folders on the phone through windows Portable Device window.

I had the same problems as you guys have.
To solve the problem, I crated backup of all my files, concatcs etc.
This should work for every one...
