Help Galaxy s or Nexus S?

It does make you wonder just how good the Nexus S will be, let's just hope Samsung took into account all the info from consumers and fixed them for the Nexus. Pity they won't be fixing them for existing customers too.

That's the part that makes me regret buying too early. I'm stuck with a device that will likely brick without notice forever. I did it as an investment for work and can't afford it just for kicks. This is the 3rd time so no confidence, I hope they replace the whole MB this time but if the design is faulty as I suspect I might own a turkey.

I can relate to that, I did the same with my last phone and regretted it ever since, but I guess it's human nature to want the newest best toy you can get and wanting it now! It's a massive shame as the Galaxy S has so much more potential that could be unlocked if Samsung could be bothered to do it right in the first place.

Wouldn't porting the nexus s rom to the sgs be easy(-ish)? I'm no dev by any definition of the word so CMIIW but I've read up enough about it to assume that because of the similarities of the innards of these two phones (or indeed how identical they are) that porting it won't be that difficult. As you guys discussed earlier there aren't that many physical differences , different buttons or camera flash and maybe some other bits and pieces. Is that right?
