I've had my new Galaxy S for around 5 months now and have been pretty happy with it. I live in an area where 3G is pretty poor so for me, a decent internet connection using my phone is a non-starter.
A friend of mine recently got a iPhone 4S on the same network as mine (O2) and he gets 3G in a lot more places in my area than I have ever done!
I even borrowed his phone for a day and using my Sim, I can get far more 3G than I can with my Galaxy.
I have a few friends with the same phone and they all seem to be having the same problem - at work, none of the Galaxy S and (one S2) phones get 3G while most of the other phones including the iPhone 4s, Nokia, LS etc, get strong 3G.
Is this a known problem with the Galaxy S?
