Galaxy S Pro for Sprint

I really hope thats not the version that will come to Verizon as well, since they are both CDMA (I know it says exclusive, but who knows with the SGS). I don't want a slider.

Looks nothing like the Galaxy S to me, So i doubt its the Pro version its probably a different samsung altogether.

It also looks like it has flash...I hope they somehow manage to throw that on the regular Galaxy S for Verizon.

Since it has a front facing camera, then it seems to be more likely a Galaxy S pro or some type of Galaxy phone. I mean, Sprint doesn't promote video calling with their own app. They promote Qik for video calls and that only works on Android phones.

The new images posted at that site show that back of the phone, and it clearly says Galaxy S. Safe bet that it is SGS Pro.

I can't really make out the screen size of this phone in the pics. I was hoping for 4 inches. From what I can see, it looks like anything from 3.5-3.7 inches. I guess I could settle with 3.7 but really want 4 or more :(

I hope its at least 3.7.

Yes. It is Galaxy S Pro device with 4 inches screen. It supports Wimax like EVO device.

*Sees flash*
Samsung....why couldn't that go on the normal Galaxy S?
I know its not a big thing but thats the only thing thats kinda stopping me from getting it. And i don't really want a keyboard just for a light :/

I can only hope the screen is the same 4 inches. From the pics, it looks like 3.7 inches though, which I could settle with.

ok, take this with a grain of salt, but I believe it is a 3.7" screen.

I took the Samsung released photo of the Galaxy S and the leaked photo of the Galaxy S Pro and pasted them into word. I then used the ruler to measure the screens and the touchwiz icons as best I could. I then divided the icon width/height by the screen width/height to get what % of the screen was used up by the icons on each phone. Both phones had icons take up 16.666% x 10% of the screen (width x height). I

why the hell is samsung being so secretive about this. Just announce the bleeding phone already...

I am glad that this one has got a flash though, though I would have preferred the xenon flash from the new milestone... it's an improvement nonetheless.

i like how the front looks on the PRO version with the 4 buttons.. i wish the tmobile version would look like that minus the keyboard... and hopefully with an LED flash, not really a big deal but it would be better if it has one..

I just measured with my ruler, the Super Amoled display is 4" in diagonal.

you measured your galaxy s with a ruler or the leaked photo? we all know the S has a 4 inch screen, but we are wondering about the pro. unless the picture is to scale, measuring its screen is useless.

According to this website the pro has a 4" screen, but it looks different in the leaked pictures and this was added on April 2 Samsung Galaxy S Pro 16GB Detailed Specs | Technical Specifications | PDAdb.net - Comprehensive Database of PDA, PDA Phone, Smartphone, PNA & Mobile Device Specifications

I don't care anymore, I am getting the galaxy S, there will always be a better phone around the corner, so I will get a 1 year contract and get another one next year when things become a little more mature.
