My Galaxy S is arriving tomorrow and I must say I can't wait, but, my enthusiasm and excitement is being rained on by this nagging feeling that I should have bought the Dell Streak.
Time will tell I guess!
Your thoughts?

Samsung was the first company to upgrade one of their phones to Android 2.1 if I recall correctly. The problems with the i7500 was that Google didn't allow the upgrade on that due to that it had insufficient RAM, so it wasn't up to Samsung. Samsung will also release a new firmware for the Galaxy S soon (it has already leaked) so I don't see much risk there.I don't doubt that the phone will be a stunner in every respect, I'm more concerned about the lack of support from Samsung in the future regarding updates and if I'm honest, I'm just not sure if it's the better of the two for me.
I've got 7 days to return it though if i don't like it so i'll play with it for a week just to be sure
EDIT: Like you i'm counting the hours!
I've got the tracking info refreshing even tho I know it wont be here until the morning![]()

That's not so strange, is it? Google will of course set technical requirements so there won't be phones out there that provide a terrible Android experience with a given version.
