Is your Galaxy S1 and 4G model, there are many models and makes, please advise before we guide you of exact model and carrier you are on

Can anybody help me to figure out what happen with my Galaxy SI?
the phone can be switch on but once the words 'SAMSUNG' appear then it get stuck... i couldn't enter the main screen...i've try to remove the battery, and restart it, but i face the same problem...
That sounds bad. Is it rooted?
Either way I think you should try a factory reset. With phone off try holding the volume button (i can never remember if it is up or down) and then holding power button. Keep holding it until you see the hboot menu, from there you should be able to delete phone and start fresh (you will most likely lose everything saved, so back up in SD card in a computer if you can)
