galaxy s2 19100 JB update problem

hi .
straight to the point .

my bro bought a samsung galaxy s2 i9100 last month from a store in Saudi Arabia, he was working there .

when he came back to india, he brought it with him.

i tried to update it via OTA . the update package was downloaded (abt 404 mb) ,clicked install. the phone rebooted. then the android installing symbol) ) came. after a few seconds it rebooted again . and said "firmware update failed.try again using kies"

tried kies, bt it says theres no update .


i dont knw wt to do.
