Help galaxy s2 battery problem

My galaxy s2 is only 3 months old. But my battery is draining pretty fast. My battery status shows 95% with only 35m 55s remaining.Even after I adjusted screen brightness and closed all background applications, problem persists.
do give me suggestions.

Install the app called "easy battery saver app". This app will increase the battery life of ur android device.

My battery status "green icon" is also constantly flickering. Even after I disconnect the charger from the device, the status is shown as charging and if restart battery status drops from 90% to 10%.

@AF87, I discharged it completely and once again recharged it. But of no use.
