Help Galaxy S2 constantly rebooting

AlCash

Lurker
What I last did on my phone is connecting to wi-fi and opening chrome. After that it went into endless reboot loop. Reboot is initiated shortly after starting the system, so I barely have time to do anything. One interesting thing is that if I try to turn off wi-fi in the setting it reboots right after that.

I found this article http://www.technobezz.com/fix-samsung-galaxy-automatically-restarting/ and looks like it can be a problem with TouchWiz. But again I can't follow the solution because my phone restarts too early after booting.

Also I tried different methods but couldn't get into recovery mode.

Any suggestions?

Hello and welcome to Android Forums AlCash! :)

Try turning your phone off and then booting into Recovery Mode and then wipe your cache partition as per this video, (ignore the irritating music!)...

Get Android into Restore Mode and Wipe Cache in Samsung Galaxy S2

Thank you for the response. I managed to enter Recovery Mode and wipe the cache. But it didn't help.

Do I have to do factory reset now?

That would be the next course of action in light of the cache partition wipe failure to solve your problem.
