Galaxy S2 email sync problem

I have a Galaxy S2 that has been updated to 4.1.2.
Sinse the update the phone will not automatically recieve emails, i have to manually refresh my emails to get them. I have three accounta and all are set to sync every 15minutes. What can I try next?
