Hello,
I recently just purchased my Epic Touch 4G from RadioShack; about three days ago. I am starting to see a problem on the screen; right after I hit the unlock button, for a very split second some vertical white lines appear on the right half portion of the screen (about 5-10 lines), and then the screen lock wallpaper appears. If I somewhat rapidly hit the unlock/lock button then I don't see it. But, if I leave the phone alone for about 3-5 seconds after locking it and turning it back on, I see the cursed white lines of death again, for a split second.
My attempts to fix the problem:
1) I deleted my recent apps. (didn't work)
2) I deleted all my downloaded apps. (didn't work)
3) I did a factory reset on my phone. (didn't work)
Don't know what else I can do. The reset I did was just going in to the menu, settings, privacy, and then tapping the factory reset. Is there better way to do a reset that wipes stuff out that I wasn't able to maybe?
Any suggestions, if you guys have any, will be greatly appreciated.
I went in to a different RadioShack and he basically said he couldn't see the lines and said I should hold on to it until it gets worse if it does. I personally can't stand it.
Should I just try to get a new phone at Sprint or the other RadioShack that I bought it from??
Again, any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated, because I really don't want to give my phone back!
