Help Galaxy S2 JB 4.1.2 battery life

First week pretty poor. After tweaking settings and plenty of trial and error, it's now add good as ever. Persevere!
 
Mine is the best battery life I have ever had on a stock based ROM and kernel. The Power Saving menu works really well. For other battery saving options, see, "Battery Saving - Dummies Guide".

I really hope the official firmware had a better battery life, if not, I think i'll be going back to GingerBread
 
I have found the battery life to be noticeably worse than 4.0.4, even with the power saving option on. This is with the same settings (mostly) as before. I could switch off some widgets and push email etc. But why would I do that? If I wanted a less functional phone I could always get an iPhone LOL.
 
I really hope the official firmware has a better battery life, I have to turn off literally everything and I also have the brightness fully low? I mean, what's the point in having a GS2 when you have to turn everything off/low.
