galaxy s2 so much memory need help

hi im this is the first good phone iv had in a long time .it has 16gb as you know 2gb for the apps and the data for the apps go on the rest of the memory yea? and i also have an 8gb card iv set the photos i take to go on the card but if i downoad a mp3 or a video it dose not go stright to the sd card is there anything i can do to get them to cos .so in a nutshell i want apps and app data on the phone and any photo vid mp3s to be on the card so i can use them on my next phone .thanks

You can set the photos and video to save to the external sdcard.

Most applications should install to the internal storage by default, if they don't you can move the application back to the phone in most cases by going to manage applications.

As for files you download like mp3's, i'm not sure you can change the default save location for files with the default browser but you can for others, it really depends what application your using to download the files.

Just go to the camera app settings and change the default save location.

Also you can still use the pics and vids on your next phone even if you have them stored in the internal storage. Just transfer them via PC.

thanks you for the info. iv found out that if i use opera mini i can pic where i want the files to go .otherwise i now know i can move them around in the file manager. joey
