Help Galaxy S2 stuck on boot screen

I think you'd better send it to customer service to do a check. Factory reset normally will fix the problem. if not, then should be some hardware issue.

Hi all I have galaxy s2 GTI9100 I flashed the kernal and now it is stuck on initial start screen with a yellow triangle bottom centre of screen... and wont go any further...Any help would be appreciated please.

Hi guys,

First time poster and a long time user of my Samsung Galaxy s2. I recently had a problem where the above occured (Randomly browsing the internet when my phone shut down and get stuck at the samsung logo). It is way over warranty so I do not mind flashing the rom.

I am able to access both recovery and download mode and managed to successfully root the phone but it still gets stuck at the samsung logo screen.

Is there anything else I can do to get my Samsung to boot?

P.s. I know I can do a factory wipe which might help, but I want to do this as a last resort because there are files there that I would like to recover.


Any help would be appreciated!

I ran into the same issue. I did everything you did, but the only way that fixed it was to Format Internal Memory. See my full post here on xda-developers:

Hi- having same problem and it's the third time it has happened.

Last time i did a factory reset, it saved all my data? Not sure how but when i went through the process and opened my gallery, all my photos were still there, same with music player etc.

Thoughts on this?

hey guys i also having same problem my samsung galaxy s2 stuck at its logo and no. i try many times to flash via odin it was successfully done and flash up my phone. but i cant boot up phone nd stuck on startup plz... help me.... i think it is hardware problem from board... suggest me smthing gud... thanks in advance.

Manually shut it down but didn't work so i pulled out the battery, tried to turn it on and there it goes, stuck on samsung gs2 logo. Any help?

Strange that you cannot boot into Recovery Mode. You could reflash your firmware by following the instructions in #1.7 of Jelly Bean update - Dummies Guide
