Help Galaxy S2 will not vibrate when i recieve SMS's

My phone used to vibrate no problem when i got texts but now when in silent it will not vibrate at all, the screen lights up showing me i have a text but that is it. Ive checked my settings and vibrate it set to all. I do not have this problem with calls my phone still vibrates for that. any ideas? appreciated

Check your vibration intensity and silent mode settings in the sound menu.
