Galaxy S2

Hey guys, so i recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S2 from orange.
And my friend has a Galaxy S+ wich works better than my S2.
Is that normal ?
my phone kinda laggs if i can say so when i try to unlock it and it slides thru menu and contacts slower than the S+.
gotta mention that i have Android 2.3.5 and he has 2.3.3 , could this be a problem ?
Should i contact my phone provider and get it fixed ? what do u guys think :-? ?
 
That's not normal. Your phone is a more powerful device than his. Try a reboot. Although however your device is new, and Android is still learning your usage pattern.
 
S2 is much faster than S or S+.

Try rebooting your device, and check the for the running processes.

Task killer, anti virus, got any of those? What Launcher are you using, TouchWiz?
 
Sorry guys , i am kinda new to this. i dont have any task killer or anti virus on it.
as for the other things i would love to see a tutorial of it lol. srry for my noobness! >,<.
Oh also i saw some vid on youtube about the S2. theyre also moving faster than mine lol!.
and is it ok to clear ram from time to time ?
 
You shouldn't even bother about looking at RAM. Android will manage it for you. Normal running RAM for Android is like 90% full. If you clear it Android will just fill it up again by itself. Just try a reboot for now.

How do i reboot it ? as in close it and open it again ?
