Custom notification keeps getting overridden by built in notification. Tried everything to change this, but can't fix. As a last resort, would a factory reset do the trick? Please, I need some help. Thanks.

what custom notification are we talking about? is this from an app?

It's a notification sound that's built into the phone called cosmic radio. I added some of my own tones and sometimes they work, and sometimes I hear that cosmic radio.

I found the answer, and i'm not happy about it!! It seems that Samsung decided to give every app in this phone their own ringtone. No mention of this in the manual, at all. My one shot with Samsung will be my last. I can't get back the time that i spent trying to solve this problem, but i can make sure that it doesn't happen again. As soon as my contract is up, it's bye bye Sammy.👎
