Help Galaxy S3 Alarm problem!

Hi,

Galaxy S3 I9300
Android Version: 4.1.2
I9300XXEMC2

My problem is as following:

When I set an alarm using S Voice, it saves and will go off at the time it's set to but will be absolutely silent, no vibration, no sound, nothing! Just the screen.

On my mom's S3 it works fine, I tell S Voice to set an alarm for say 12:00 and it'll ring with music and all but on my phone it will just display the alarm screen.

I can manually set an alarm and that'll work but it just sucks, why is this happening and how can I fix it?

This is really irritating and dangerous, I've almost missed my flight because the ******* alarm didn't wake me up, I can't trust it

Edit: It used to work, I have no idea when and why it stopped working

Not really a total solution, but have you tried setting it with Google Now?
Sorry, I've never used S Voice.

Thanks for trying but that didn't work either

I've installed the latest Firmware, XXEMG4 and that didn't solve it either

Daft question ....but do you have blocking mode enabled? ....I had the same problem then realised that I had the alarm disabled in the blocking mode settings.... i've unticked "disable alarm" and my alarm is now working again
