I sent my phone in for battery life repairs - when I got it back my contacts with sim card are mixed up... took phone into the store and nobody could figure it out! so here it is..
In my contacts list, I have tried all settings under 'contacts to display'. I select PHONE contacts only - I do not want sim card contacts (even tried 'custom' setting and removed sim option). -- In my contacts list -each of my contacts are displayed as I want. (ie, Names, pictures, multiple phone numbers, addresses).
The issue is within my text messaging. When I am texting contacts it is doubling my options for who to text- when selecting a contact, it is displaying the same numbers twice (mainly mobile #'s). Contacts IN my text messaging are only displayed as SIM contacts. No pictures or other information is showing up within text messaging screen. When I click "view contact" through text messaging - it is showing SIM card contact information only - which is not the same information as in my contacts list.
My phone never had this issue before sending it in for repairs and being factory reset... I have played with all options under contacts to display and would like my text messaging to show the same contacts as IN my contacts (and include pictures).
....has anyone else had this weird issue? If so how do i fix it without removing my sim card entirely from my phone.. I've tried playing with most options and still does not work...
