the other day i held down the home button on my phone to see if there were any running apps and was going to end them, when i saw something strange...i was holding down the button so i could see all open apps..the internet one was showing the website url as a regular website however the url did notmatch what was showing in the window which was bing search page searching for certain adult content..when i touched the app to open it, it was the original url and there was no record of the bing search?? does anyone know what could cause this?
 
May I ask have you rooted if or if not when was the last time you did a factory data reset if you never done . let's try to clear the app data and cache just clear the Browser and or chrome app Data and cache .
 
do not know what rooting is..do you know how this could happen? tbh honest months ago i did check out a site with adult content and never again after. why would my phone show a bing search page yet the url is different and then disappear when trying to open app?
 
When you viewed the site you never cleared the app Browser cache and Data to clear out what you was searching and viewed that . just clear the app data and cache .
 
ok..sorry for the repetitive questioning, however i just want to make sure i didnt get some malware..this was many months ago and i havent been on since..cleared all my search histories and browser..will try clearing app data and cache(in my settings i assume?)..have you heard of this happening? is there an explanation..Even though the window wasnt full screen it was a bit unsettling and wonder why it said the webpage was pcplus.ca but in the window it showed that search..
 
Yes it has happened. But if you stay off the porn web sites it has some extra live gifts that are harmful to your device . a full factory data cleaning will help if you have a malware attact
 
so i guess it was like a glitch then? thought i was losing my mind and almost accused my husband because i knew it had not been me for a very long time...how do i clear the app data and cache data..?
 
keep in mind that what ever shows in the recents 'previews' is not entirely correct. sometimes they are blank, sometimes the content is way out of date. they're not live previews ala Windows Phone.
